My New Guilty Pleasure

What happens when you take three songwriters, each who front their own bands, and ask them to write a song together? If this were a joke, then it would be "three songwriters walk into a bar..." My New Guilty Pleasure was born out of the casual suggestion of doing just that. On a cold snowy day in early January 2011 Cody Sokolski (the Delta Kings) David Howie (Singer-Songwriter Extraordinaire) and Jim Hewitt (Jim Hewitt and the Three Chord Circus) got together with no pre-planned song idea and by the end of the session had written a song and captured it on a webcam for all to see. The process of creating the first song lead to a second song which lead to 5th song which lead to 10th song and so on. The sessions have been dubbed "The Mancave Sessions" and can be seen on YouTube.
